These Provincial Championships aim to bring together talented athletes from the thirty four member leagues in the Atom (10 & 11 year olds), Peewee (12 & 13 years olds) and Girls U14, U16 and U18 divisions. Approximately 1,200 athletes, 120 coaches and 36 officials from around the province will participate in these high level competitions.

The Tyke and Novice Championships were awarded to Kingston on July 3, 4 & 5 and Bantam and Junior event will be hosted in Penetanguishene on July 10, 11 & 12.

In 2008, the Tri Cities Ball Hockey League captured two provincial championships in the Novice CC and Girls U14 divisions.
